Tracefox
Founder & Solo Developer · 2025 - present
My own SaaS product, every line of it built by me: track, test and optimize user journeys, and know within minutes when one breaks.

Tracefox is my own product. I built it from scratch, alone: the positioning, the design, the frontend, the backend, the automation engine and the infrastructure. It answers a painful, expensive question for online stores: is anything in my user journey broken or bleeding conversions right now?
The problem
Store owners find out about broken checkouts and UX problems the worst way possible: lost sales and angry emails. Manual QA doesn’t scale, uptime monitors that only ping a URL miss the real failures, and classic analytics tell you that conversion dropped without ever showing you why.
What I built
- Session Replay: watch real user sessions to see exactly what visitors did, where they struggled and where they left.
- Journey Testing: define the flows that make you money (add to cart, view cart, start checkout, complete purchase) and Tracefox verifies each step automatically, in a real browser.
- Checkout QA: scheduled real-browser checkout runs (Playwright) across desktop, mobile and tablet, with success scores and drop-off tracking over time.
- UX Monitoring: rage-click detection, error tracking, session and conversion-rate analytics on one dashboard.
- Alerting: Slack and email notifications the moment something fails, so you hear it from Tracefox instead of a customer.
The stack
Next.js with TypeScript, Playwright for real-browser automation, a scheduled background-job system for monitoring at scale, and a conversion-focused landing page and dashboard I designed myself.
The result
A complete product: positioning, landing page, pricing structure, dashboard and automation engine. It turns “I hope our funnel works” into “I’ll know within minutes if it doesn’t.”
